| Why dost thou continually seekest after me, when it is I who wish to flee? Dost thou not know that there is a land of white who ever waitest for me? Henceforth, my heart longs to be elsewhere, in this white land with a beauty which so fair. My heart has been taken there, by a white veil, no stain, no tear. Therefore, I will not come to thee, for how can it be? It is not possible for me to be two places at the same time, for then my soul would never hear again such a joyous chime. Dost thou wish me to commit such a suicide, so that thou may be pleased with thyself in thy pride? This again I will say, that there is none in the earth's place with more purer than this face. Alas, still if this be not granted unto me, unworthy as I be, I will not play such a child's game, for I know the desert knows and remembers my name.

| "I hate goodbyes," he said. For a remote desert dweller like him, such
partings usually meant he would never see the person again.
As his boat pulled away, Gleb saw Fr. Gerasim standing alone in tears on the shore of Monk's Lagoon, blessing him.

| What has the world learned besides more devious forms of hypocrisy? If Christ were born today he would be locked into mental institution, put on medication and crucified again. We say we live in a Christian society but it is more anti-Christian and more Christ hating than the society Christ was first born into. We say we seek the Truth, yet there has never been so many fake psuedo-Christian Churches proclaiming the name of a false Christ.
...When will we learn. Glory to Thee O our long-suffering God.

“The Holy Eucharist is the first, most important, and greatest miracle
of Christ. All the other Gospel miracles are secondary. How could we
not call the greatest miracle the fact that simple bread and wine were
once transformed by the Lord into His very Body and His very Blood, and
then have continued to be transformed for nearly two thousand years by
the prayers of priests, who are but simple human beings? And what is
more, this mystery has continued to effect a miraculous change in those
people who communicate of the Divine Mysteries with faith and
humility.”

Christos Anesti!
El Massieh Ahm!
Christ has Risen!
Christ has risen from the dead, trampling down death by death and upon those in the tombs bestowing life!
